"Thankyou so much for such a brilliant child friendly accomodation. We had a lovely time staying there in the weekend. The house was lovely and clean and the heater was great in the evenings. Warmed the house up really fast! The bedrooms were a good size and there was lots of room for the portacot. The kids had the best time ever when they discovered the bedroom wardrobe was full of toys. "We had a fantastic and relaxing time whilst staying at Rest @ Rye and would recommend it to others so that they too can experience a fantastic and relaxing time away. Special touches like a bottle of wine on arrival and items for the children ie. toybox, cot, high chair only added to the charm of this house. "Dear John Thank you for a lovely stay at Rest@Rye. We enjoyed arriving to the bottle of wine and a very clean and nicely furnished house. It was the perfect place for a family with two active little boys. As well as the terrific play equipment, the backyard had a lovely feel that we didn't appreciate from the website. I'd also recommend the house to anyone without kids - the kid friendly elements did not compromise the house in any way. We look forward to coming back another time. All the best." Absolutely loved it and will definitely be staying again!! Our family holiday, with 3 children under 5 in tow, was a dream. The house was perfectly set up - plenty of toys and activities inside and out. Everything that we needed was there for us to use. Great location - close enough to the beach and local amenities. "Great place - perfect for the 4 of us. Love the complimentary red wine... very yummy. The house is very clean and well maintained. It was raining when we were there so couldn't get out much. However it's like a bless in disguise as we were really satisfied goofing around in the house - watching tv, playing games, listening to music even to cooking our dinner. "How fabulous to be able to walk in and enjoy such a clean, cosy home. With 4 adults and 5 children, there was ample room for everyone. We took full advantage of the open fire and were impressed by the efficiency of the reverse cycle heating and extra heaters for the bedrooms. We loved it and would certainly come again." "We started our Australian vacation at Rest @ Rye and it was great. Everything that we could have needed was there. Full kitchen. Movies. Toys for the kids. Trampoline. Large yard. BBQ. Patio table and chairs. It was very clean, and very comfortable. It was a few minutes drive from the main part of town, which made it very private and a relaxing retreat. Thanks again!" It's light, bright and airy with comfortable beds and lounge furniture, the kitchen is equipped with just about everything you might need from a corkscrew to a Dishlex!! We arrived with food for the weekend and had no reason to leave the house until it was time to come home!! The bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival was just the best start to our stay - and having two teenage boys with us - we were thrilled with the huge amount of benchspace on which they prepared the endless food they seem to eat!! The house also offers an amazing undercover balcony with gas barbecue and seating around a large table for eight. Our stay at Rest @ Rye certainly was the best rest we've had in a long while. Can't recommend the place highly enough !!! "

It felt like a home away from home & we especially liked the lock up gates in the front, back & on the deck as our toddler could roam around freely & not escape, which makes our stay (as parents) a whole lot more relaxing! Great location in a quiet street. We would book again as the house suited our family needs. A big plus is that we could arrange the rental efficiently via email, pay by bank transfer & the key was already on-site. The owner was very prompt with his responses & the return of the bond. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

The back yard had swings, slide and a trampoline, and the children loved it. Lovely deck where we spent a lot of time reading and relaxing at the table."

"The property offers every utility of home. It is clean, comfortable and spacious. We had two lots of relatives staying with us from separate locations of the world, this property offered comfortable space for each needs. I particularly liked how there is a door shutting off the three bedrooms from the living area and kitchen. If some wanted to stay up and entertain, others could retire early without being disturbed - excellent! The location is idyllic and easily accessible. The Manager John, has top communication skills, is personable, attentive to detail and sensitive to special needs. The all around experience was perfect, could not be improved upon. Thank you."
